My son Leo started attending the WiloStar 3D online school at the beginning of his 10th grade year in Sept. of 2016. He is currently in his 2nd semester there and he is really enjoying it! His teacher last semester and this semester is very engaging and personable, and Leo enjoys interacting with the other students in the virtual platform 4 times each week. The assignments are usually an amount that Leo can accomplish during his school day without needing to work in the evenings and weekends, which is a very helpful for him. Also useful is the separation of math/science and english/history into separate semesters. This allows for more depth in the subject while it is being done without having too many classes to keep track of at one time. Leo has dyslexia and has struggled with depression and anxiety for some time. Those issues impact his ability to concentrate, and the WiloStar online school is a format that is supportive of him where he is. I recommend this school for students that need to do school at home, whatever the reason may be.
